A purpose driven community for a better future
Building a non-profit voluntary association relies on clear values and active community engagement. With the dedication of passionate volunteers, the organization stays true to its mission and creates lasting impact.

Our Roots & Wings
EPA is rooted in the conviction that we need more connectivity, so that discoveries at the furthest fringes of community can be shared
for the benefit of the wider whole.
As psychosynthesis practitioners we understand that the Will of Self is revealed in ways that are neither singular nor straightforward. We expand our awareness not just by rising up or diving down, nor even by turning inwards only, but also by branching out and making connection.
EVERYONE CONTRIBUTES
One of the great strengths of EPA is the principle that every one of its members has something to contribute to the understanding of the whole. Whilst we all share in the context of psychosynthesis, we are also blessed with the richness of our varied cultural perspectives, rooted as these are in different soils, different stories and different languages.
THE WOOD-WIDE-WEB
Drawing on the image of the wood-wide-web we might say that soul emerges within a complex and collaborative structure, where the encounter between different perspectives is often more important than any one perspective. The branching nature of roots remind us that revelation takes place not just at a single pinnacle point, but simultaneously at multiple meeting points across the whole web of being.
A TIME OF REVELATION
We are living, many say, through a time of revelation, a time for uncovering wisdom that has been lost and for discovering new perspectives that are emerging for the very first time. What many of us are beginning to understand is that in its deepest sense, healing is a matter of restoring our connection to community and to cosmos.

“Being a part of the EPA has brought me many new colleagues and friends worldwide. It has deepened my understanding of psychosynthesis on a personal, transpersonal, and societal level. It is indeed an extended family, both professionally and personally. I am grateful for all the hours of volunteer work that many of us gives to the community to make this happen. Thank you!”

Timeline
The European Psychosynthesis Association (EPA) grew rapidly from 2021 to 2025.
During this time, EPA expanded globally, grew its membership, built a strong community, and launched key initiatives to boost accessibility and engagement.
Highlights include the first international Summer School with intensive workshops, stronger global collaboration, and a new integrated website.
These steps have supported psychosynthesis practitioners and advanced the practice across Europe and beyond.
In 2025, the EPA launched a new website and blog to serve members and newcomers, offering a platform to share knowledge and experiences on psychosynthesis and personal growth. The EPA is also collaborating with international institutes and planning the second Summer School in 2026 to deepen members' skills in psychosynthesis.
In 2024, the EPA welcomed new practitioners, including its first member from Australia. The organization also enhanced accessibility within the community through updated digital tools, extending them for documentation and payment processes, while restructuring its IT systems to better meet the needs of members.
In 2023, the EPA and EFPP moved their base from Italy to the Netherlands for administrative reasons. The organization grew internationally, attracting over 100 participants to the Summer School in Mullsjö, Sweden, featuring a wide range of workshops. Additionally, EPA launched EPA Writers, led by Susan Holliday, to promote psychosynthesis and human development.
Since 2022, the EPA has been funded by membership fees and operates as a not-for-profit voluntary association. The launch of the EPA Community Platform has facilitated greater content creation and the formation of theme-based groups, reaching an increasing number of members. This includes the introduction of the Monthly Peace Meditation Group, led by Monika Kuiter.
In 2021, the EPA initially received start-up funding from the EFPP to cover expenses such as legal fees and operational costs during its first few months. The EPA Community was set up and introduced.
