The AAP is the North American association for therapists, coaches, teachers and artists who utilize psychosynthesis in professional contexts, as well as people interested in personal and spiritual development who utilize psychosynthesis principles and techniques to support wholeness. 

The EFPP is a federation of psychotherapy training centers in 6 countries and the representative for psychosynthesis in the European Psychotherapy Association, EAP. The EAP and EFPP are the accrediting bodies for quality assessment and validation of psychotherapist training.

In 1981, Sergio Bartoli, a student of Roberto Assagioli, founded the Community of Living Ethics with 11 friends, all trained in Psychosynthesis. The goal was to create a Psychosynthesis community at the Poggio del Fuoco estate, where they offered courses on personal development and creative meditation.

Over time, the community expanded to include teachings from the Tibetan Master and Agni Yoga, with creative meditation growing quickly.

In 1995, the name changed to "Living Ethics", inspired by Agni Yoga, focuses on addressing key aspects of human life - such as values, freedom, and self-responsibility - through ethical principles, with an emphasis on practical application.

The name reflects the community’s mission and the purpose of its activities.

In 2017, Andrea Bocconi organized an unconventional conference in Florence, focusing on exchanging participants’ experiences and reflecting on education and educator training. This led to the creation of "Educatori Consapevoli" (ECo), a training program based on Psychosynthesis, a humanistic psychology approach.

The ECo program consists of three modules detailed in Bocconi's book Psicosintesi per educatori. The program has been implemented internationally, helping educators integrate Psychosynthesis into their professional development.

The São Paulo Psychosynthesis Center (CPSP), established in 1999, is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Psychosynthesis throughout Brazil.

Founded under the guidance of the Istituto di Psicosintesi in Florence, Italy - a center established by Dr. Roberto Assagioli, the founder of Psychosynthesis - CPSP serves as the sole center of its kind in the country.

CPSP offers a comprehensive training for individuals  seeking personal growth, regardless of their professional background.

The Institute of Psychosynthesis in London, founded in 1973 by Joan and Roger Evans under Dr. Roberto Assagioli’s guidance, pioneered the integration of psychology and spirituality.

In 1975, it introduced Europe's first professional psychosynthesis training program, laying the foundation for counseling, psychotherapy, coaching, and applied psychosynthesis.

Over the past five decades, the Institute has expanded its offerings, including MA degrees and diplomas in psychology and coaching, as well as advanced psychotherapeutic training with pathways to UKCP accreditation. Member of EFFP.

The Psychosynthesis Trust, founded in 1965 by Dr. Roberto Assagioli, is the UK's longest-running center dedicated to psychosynthesis, blending psychology and spirituality.

In the 1980s, Diana Whitmore revitalized the Trust by establishing counseling and psychotherapy training programs. A former student of Assagioli, Diana remains actively involved as a trustee and trainer.

The Trust offers a range of training programs, including a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling accredited by BACP. Member of EFFP.

PsykosyntesAkademin is Sweden’s first Psychosynthesis Institute, founded in 1989. It operates as a foundation, offering education, research, and a four-year program to become a certified Psychosynthesis Therapist.

Margo Russell, the first rector, combined her expertise in business and psychology to establish the academy. She introduced psychosynthesis to thousands, built strong collaborations across Europe - including with the Istituto di Psicosintesi in Florence - and developed programs that have trained hundreds of certified therapists.

Founded in 1990, HumaNova is a leading institution for personal and professional development in Sweden, offering education based on psychosynthesis.

At HumaNova, Psychosynthesis serves as the foundation for most of their programs. The approach they use can they describe as an assimilative integration, meaning that while psychosynthesis remains the core theoretical framework, they incorporate methods and principles from various psychological disciplines.

The Instituut voor Psychosynthese, established in 1985, offers a diverse range of educational programs including one-day specialized workshops and a comprehensive four-year professional training program leading to certification as a psychosynthesis therapist. 

Recognized as a leading center for personal and professional development, the institute also offers free e-books and information on upcoming events, such as introductory lessons and meditation sessions.

Professionals trained by the Institute for Psychosynthesis connects individuals and organizations via Psychosyntheticus.nl. 

Founded in 1984 by Dr. Kristina Brode, the institute was established as part of the non-profit "Association for the Promotion of Holistic Health Education." Initially focused on holistic cancer aftercare, it provided comprehensive emotional, psychological, and healing support, integrating methods in nutrition and physical exercise.

The institute became known as SYSPEP® (Systemic Cancer Follow-up Program), with its effectiveness scientifically validated through studies by the Universities of Cologne (1993) and Jena (2007).

In 1991, the institute expanded to offer psychosynthesis training, introduced to Germany by David Bach in 1987. Psychosynthesis, with its holistic view of innate healing potential, led to the institute being renamed Circadian – Institute for Applied Psychosynthesis in 1998.

Since 2000, Circadian has offered seminars in collaboration with IndiTO, focusing on psychosynthesis training and education. The institute has been a member of the European Federation for Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy (EFPP) since 1997 and provides an accredited curriculum that aligns with European psychotherapy standards, allowing graduates to earn the European Certificate for Psychotherapy (ECP).

Aeon – Zentrum für Psychosynthese was founded in 1991 by Gerhard Schobel, a pioneer in psychosynthesis in the German-speaking world. Based in Switzerland, Aeon has been dedicated to personal development for over 30 years, focusing on psychosynthesis.

Aeon provides certification programs, such as Dipl. Psychosynthesis Coach, Dipl. Psychosynthesis Consultant, and Dipl. Psychosocial Counseling. These modular programs allow flexibility for individuals to develop their potential.

Aeon is a member of the European Federation for Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy (EFFP), ensuring its programs meet high standards for personal and professional development.

The center offers diploma and certificate programs in psychosynthesis, coaching, and counseling, adhering to ethical guidelines set by EFPP, the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP), the Swiss Society for Counseling (SGfB), and the Swiss Coaching Association (SCA).

The Centre Source-Ecole Française de Psychosynthèse was founded 1995 by disciples of Dr. Robert Assagioli. Since its establishment, the school has focused on providing high-quality, ethical training in psychosynthesis, especially through professional associations.

Psychosynthesis in psychotherapy received validation from the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP) in 1999. Since 2004, Centre Source has held EAPTI (EAP Training Institute) status, offering education leading to the European Certificate of Psychotherapy (CEP). It is also one of the ten French institutes accredited as an EAPTI member within the French Federation for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis (FF2P).

The Centre is a founding member of the European Federation for Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy (EFPP) and offers a comprehensive coaching and counseling program in partnership with SIPT (Italian School of Psychotherapy and Counseling in Psychosynthesis), which has university status in Italy. 

For those pursuing therapeutic applications, Centre Source offers an additional 6-month psychotherapy program, focusing on psychopathology, psychosynthesis psychotherapy, and supervision. Graduates, after completing a thesis and 300 hours of practice, receive the final certificate from Centre Source and the European Certificate of Psychotherapy (CEP), issued by EAP and FF2P.

The Synthesis Center, founded by Dr. William M. McDonald in 1976, is a nonprofit institution based in Amherst, Massachusetts, dedicated to personal and collective evolution through psychosynthesis. The center offers coaching, workshops, and accredited training programs that integrate psychological and spiritual growth.

Dr. McDonald, along with Dr. Robert Firman, has played a key role in advancing psychosynthesis in the U.S. The center’s programs focus on self-awareness, personal development, and the application of psychosynthesis in therapy and coaching. Notably, the Board Certified Psychosynthesis Life Coach training is accredited by CCE-Global, offering the Board Certified Coach accreditation.

In 2023, the center launched the Master Psychosynthesis Coach training and certification, along with a Psychosynthesis Teacher Training Program. With a commitment to providing high-quality, transformative education, The Synthesis Center continues to lead the way in psychosynthesis coaching and training globally.

The Association for the Advancement of Psychosynthesis (AAP) was founded in 1995 as the first professional psychosynthesis organization in North America by a group of psychosynthesis professionals, including key figures like Dr. John Firman and Dr. Ann Gila.

AAP is dedicated to the evolution of wholeness and spiritual integration worldwide. It welcomes anyone interested in supporting the evolution of psychosynthesis, whether they are therapists, coaches, teachers, artists, or individuals on a personal or spiritual journey. 

AAP’s activities include conducting workshops, conferences, and retreats, providing a member directory with the latest events, and offering Continuing Education Credits for eligible workshops. AAP also supports high standards of psychosynthesis training, ongoing research projects, and encourages involvement in committees, task forces, and co-creative global collaborations.

Driven by the volunteer efforts and contributions of its members, AAP invites individuals to join and contribute to its mission. 

Psychosynthesis Northeast, founded by Susan B. Gordon in 2005, offers a comprehensive and accredited Psychosynthesis Coach Training Program through the Center for Credentialing in Education (CCE).

The program prepares participants to earn a Psychosynthesis Life Coach certification and qualify for the National Board Certified Coach (BCC) exam, once all education requirements are met.

It is an excellent opportunity for counselors, social workers, and health professionals to expand their practice or enter the coaching field. 

Psychosynthesis Coaching provides tools, frameworks, and roadmaps to help individuals and organizations reach their full potential, supporting clients in achieving their highest goals.

The Institute of Psychosynthesis was founded in Warsaw by Dr. Ewa Danuta Białek, a pioneer of psychosynthesis in Poland. With over 27 years of experience, Dr. Białek has focused on promoting health and well-being through a holistic approach, emphasizing personal growth and self-reconnection. Her work integrates physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects to help individuals heal and build resilience, preventing suffering and autoimmune-related illnesses later in life.

On October 4, 2023, the Institute marked its 19th anniversary. As of December 2023, the Institute ceased operations in its previous form. Stay connected for the next chapter in their journey.
